Born in Lexington, KY, I am currently a senior PhD student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Kentucky.
I have a passion for education
Science education has the power to unlock new doors of discovery, creativity, and innovation, and I am eager to share my passion and knowledge with the next generation of scientists and researchers.
Appalachia is where my family roots are
Family roots in Appalachia can be a source of pride and connection for many individuals. The Appalachian region has a rich cultural history and a unique way of life that has been passed down from generation to generation. My family originated from Barbourville, KY, where much of my family resides today!
